The Consolidated Criminal Practice Direction clarifies some issues with respect to the procedures under the Criminal Rules and sets out several requirements with respect to criminal matters before the Supreme Court of British Columbia. It should be read in conjunction with the Criminal Rules. From time to time since its issuance, amendments have been made to the Consolidated Criminal Practice Direction (i.e. with respect to access to court files, exhibits and Reasons for Judgment).
